Program introduction
- The Taipei Music Academy & Festival is an annual event that brings together music enthusiasts for a delightful gathering. Chamber music allows us to appreciate the composer's creative techniques and showcases the collaboration and synergy between musicians. This year's festival features an impressive lineup of renowned musicians, including the foremost principals of top orchestras worldwide. Together, they will present a distinctive chamber music feast for music lovers, in keeping with the festival's tradition since its inception. Faculty will perform diverse works spanning centuries of music history, from Rossini to Mendelssohn, Jacques Ibert, Paul Hindemith to Joseph Turrin. Through their performance, they will showcase the various possibilities of different chamber music ensembles and their friendship, revealing the timeless appeal of chamber music and its unique charm.
