Video Recording Guidelines
- Video recordings must contain all audition repertoire in the order listed below.
- Each work should be submitted in a separate media file. Any indication that there has been editing will result in the disqualification of the applicant.
- Live concert video recording within past 12 months can be used in the solo repertoire category.
- We strongly recommend you view your recording all the way through before submitting
- First movement exposition of a major concerto
- A movement of J. S. Bach sonata or partita for solo violin (if Ciaconna, please end at bar 89)
- P. I. Tchaikovsky: String Sextet, Souvenir de Florence, second movement excerpt (music provided)
- S. Prokofiev: Symphony No. 1, Classical excerpts (music provided)
- Any movement of Bach cello suites or solo violin sonatas and partitas
- First movement of any major concerto
- B. Smetana: String Quartet excerpts (music provided)
